Police Notes for Buckingham, April 9, 2008

Those of you with astute powers of observation will notice that the “Outline of Buckingham” on the map below has been reshaped for accuracy. In the past, a corner of the community was cut off. Thanks to Buckingham Community Civic Association President Pat Hope for pointing it out to me. My apologies go, of course, to the people who live in that corner. --ST

April 1: Exposure, 500 block of N. Park Dr. At 11:30 p.m., a woman was washing clothes in a basement laundry room. She heard knocking and turned to see a male masturbating outside the window. The victim yelled that she was calling police and the suspect fled. The suspect was described as a light skinned African American or Asian male, wearing blue jean shorts and a white polo shirt.

April 7: Commercial Burglary, 3900 block of N. Cathedral Lane. At 6:30 a.m., a foreman discovered a damaged door to a secure room at a construction site. Copper tubing was stolen from the room. There are no known suspects. The location is the St. Thomas More Cathedral construction site at the corner of N. Thomas Street and N. Cathedral Lane.
