Police Notes for Buckingham Jan. 9, 2008
Dec. 31: Robbery, 700 block of N. Glebe Rd. At approximately 12:50 p.m. a suspect approached an employee at the counter of a store, said that he had a gun, and told her to open the register. She complied with his demand and the suspect grabbed cash from the drawer. The suspect fled the scene, and is described as a white male, approximately six feet tall, slender, wearing a dark colored hat (possibly knit), white sweater, blue jeans and carrying a black backpack.
Jan. 2: Stolen Auto, 4500 block N. Pershing Dr. Tag Number: VA JYJ-5068. The truck was a 1986 Dodge D250, red.
Jan. 3: Stolen Auto Temporary Tag, 4100 block N. 3rd Rd. Tag Number: VA X841335.
