Another Accident at N. Thos. and Pershing
The driver of the white Toyota pictured here said she hit a red SUV this morning as she headed west on N. Pershing Drive; the SUV entered the road from N. Thomas Street. The SUV spun and hit another car, the driver said. She did not give her name, but said that she lived in the Arlington Oaks Condominium, and that she was "OK."

Police Notes for Buckingham
Aug. 29: Felony Hit and Run, N. Glebe Road at the intersection with N. Henderson Road. At approximately 5:45 p.m., a Lincoln Continental made a right turn on red from eastbound N. Henderson Road onto southbound N. Glebe Road. The Continental struck a Honda Accord which was traveling southbound on N. Glebe. The driver of the Accord was injured and the Continental immediately fled the scene.
Officers located the Continental and stopped it on the ramp from westbound Arlington Boulevard to N. George Mason Drive. Petitions are pending for the 17-year-old male suspect, who was released into the custody of his parents.
